The new Dodge Durango comes with enhanced fuel efficiency features that allows you to save a lot on gas. The powerful 5.7-liter HEMI V8 engine comes with a fuel-saving technology built in the engine to reduce the amount of fuel consumed when driving the vehicle on normal conditions. This system uses sensors that detect the power demands of the SUV and adjust the engine performance accordingly.

This system will shut down four cylinders and allow the engine to run at half-power in order to reduce the demand on the engine and maximize the efficiency of the engine. 

The Ram 3500 was engineered to tow heavy loads. It features three engines choices all designed to give you the power you need. The 6.4L Hemi V8 is the standard engine in all models. This engine offers a variable cam timing feature to deliver the best horsepower in its class, 410 hp. This power allows you to tow up to 18,210 pounds and carry a maximum of 7,680 pounds in the truck’s bed. This engine pairs with an eight-speed automatic transmission for great refinement.

There are two available engines.

Although the Ram 1500 is a light-duty truck, it is able to offer what most of the larger trucks offer. The truck has a choice of four engines, some with a mild hybrid system that improve power and fuel efficiency. It is capable of towing up to 12,750 pounds and carry a payload of up to 2,300 pounds.
